I am an Executive Leadership and Governance Expert with more than 30 years of hands-on experience navigating the intricate worlds of public service and corporate consulting. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of leading high-performing teams, crafting transformative policies, and delivering large-scale projects that leave a measurable impact on communities and organizations.
My work is rooted in a simple but powerful mission: to partner with leaders and organizations to unlock their full potential. I achieve this by combining strategic insight, ethical leadership, and results-driven approaches that ensure sustainable success. Whether in the boardroom, training room, or policy arena, my goal is to inspire confidence, drive meaningful change, and create legacies that endure.
My Journey
My career began in 1983 with the Lagos State Civil Service, where I steadily progressed through various leadership roles, culminating in my appointment as Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Deputy Governor. Over the years, I held senior positions across key ministries, including Physical Planning, Urban Development, Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Works & Infrastructure. In each role, I managed multidisciplinary teams, developed and implemented impactful policies, and oversaw projects that improved infrastructure, streamlined government processes, and strengthened public service delivery.
As Permanent Secretary, I provided strategic oversight on policies affecting millions, coordinated intergovernmental relations, and managed budgets exceeding NGN 500M. I introduced innovative processes that boosted productivity, reduced project approval timelines, and improved inter-departmental collaboration. My leadership directly contributed to enhanced efficiency, reduced bureaucratic bottlenecks, and measurable improvements in service delivery.
My professional expertise is underpinned by a strong academic foundation. I hold a B.Sc. in Political Science from the University of Ibadan, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Lagos, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the National Open University of Nigeria. I also earned a Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism. These qualifications, combined with continuous professional development, have equipped me with the knowledge and perspective to lead with both strategic clarity and practical insight.
Recognizing the need to share my expertise more widely, I founded Creative Link Consulting in 2017. Through this consultancy, I have partnered with public institutions, corporate organizations, and NGOs to design and deliver transformative leadership and organizational development programs. I have trained over 1,000 professionals, mentored emerging leaders, and facilitated workshops that drive measurable growth and sustainable change. My work has taken me from high-level executive coaching sessions to grassroots capacity-building initiatives, ensuring impact at every level of leadership.
